Shannon Barnhardt serves patients as an outreach coordinator and audiology assistant trainee at Chesapeake Hearing Centers’ (CHC) various locations. She holds an associate degree and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in health service management, expected May 2026. Her background includes restaurant service, retail operations management, and patient care coordination in a chiropractic setting.

A hearing aid user since age 5, Shannon developed a lifelong connection to hearing health care early on. She proudly chose audiology for her postcollege career and has found her calling. After a hearing aid appointment at CHC, she was able to shadow the practice as a learning opportunity and eventually joined the team.

Shannon enjoys being part of patients’ better-hearing journeys and helping them feel supported. Outside the office, she continues her tenure at a local waterfront restaurant, where she has worked the past 8 years. She also loves coaching high school lacrosse, spending time with loved ones, and being a cat mom.
