Dr. Rose Buchbinder, Au.D., received her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2019 from Rush University in Chicago after completing her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2015. She holds national certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Prior to joining Chesapeake Hearing in 2024, Dr. Buchbinder gained clinical experience working at various clinical sites in Illinois, Colorado, and Hawaii. Dr. Buchbinder employs evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality, empathetic care to her patients. She enjoys working with balance disorders and is skilled in audiological and vestibular evaluations and hearing aid fittings.
Dr. Buchbinder discovered Audiology after seeing her father’s improved communication and the benefits of hearing aids, which followed his childhood misdiagnosis and hearing impairment. This experience and her interest in research, linguistics, and the medical field drove her desire to help others facing similar challenges. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Buchbinder enjoys hiking, camping, and improv comedy.
