Rachel Sussman

Graduate Clinician

Rachel Sussman serves patients in Annapolis and North Bethesda as a graduate clinician. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She later pursued her graduate studies in audiology at the University of Maryland, where she also worked as a clinic assistant at the UMD Hearing and Speech Clinic.

An introductory course in communication disorders first sparked Rachel’s interest in the field. She realized that audiology was the perfect path that combined science, patient care, and the opportunity to make a difference.

Her clinical experience includes rotations at Johns Hopkins Audiology and more. Rachel is passionate about patient-centered care and especially enjoys tinnitus evaluations, tinnitus counseling, and vestibular testing. Outside the clinic, Rachel enjoys weight lifting, cooking, music, and dance.
