Rachel Lam is a graduate clinician serving her externship at Chesapeake Hearing Centers. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in speech-language pathology and audiology in 2019. She is currently completing her Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) at Towson University.
Rachel’s clinical experience includes training at Towson University’s Institute for Well-Being, Live Better Hearing, Community Audiology Services, and Johns Hopkins Cochlear Implant Center. She has special interests in diagnostic testing, hearing aids, and cochlear implants. During her time at Towson University, Rachel served as the social chair of Towson University’s National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA), where she planned and organized events to help build relationships among chapter members. Helping patients maintain the ability to communicate with others and stay active in their community is what drew Rachel to the field of audiology. Outside of clinic, she enjoys being outdoors, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
