She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2017 from California University of Pennsylvania, where she was an executive and founding member of the American Sign Language club on campus.
Laura was drawn to the field of audiology in high school when she became good friends with a classmate with a profound hearing loss. She has a special interest in diagnostics, hearing aids, and cochlear implants.
Laura grew up in Huntingtown, Maryland, where she completed a wide range of volunteer activities with Girl Scouts of America and the local Lions Club. Outside of audiology, she enjoys spending as much time as possible on the water with her family. She is very passionate about audiology and promoting hearing health in all aspects of the field.
She is excited for the opportunity to complete her externship at Chesapeake Hearing Centers and is looking forward to meeting you all!
