Dr. Laura Chylinski, Au.D., received her Doctor of Audiology degree at Towson University in Maryland in May 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2017 from California University of Pennsylvania, where she was an executive and founding member of the American Sign Language club on campus.
Dr. Chylinski’s clinical experiences include rotations in educational audiology at an Ear, Nose, & Throat practice, a university clinic, and in multiple private practices, including Chesapeake Hearing Centers. Laura was drawn to the field of audiology in high school when she became good friends with a classmate with a profound hearing loss. She has a special interest in diagnostics, hearing aids, and cochlear implants.
Outside of audiology, Dr. Chylinski enjoys spending time with her new husband. She likes to attempt cooking new recipes and try new restaurants in her free time. She also enjoys walking and playing with her dog, Acer. Dr. Chylinski can be seen in our Ocean Pines and Salisbury offices for basic audiological evaluations, hearing device evaluation and counseling, and other hearing device troubleshooting and repair services.
