Donating to Local Hospice Was a Joy
Doesn’t it feel good when you’re able to pay it forward? Whether it’s helping a neighbor with a DIY project, pinch-hitting for a coworker stuck in traffic, or giving up a window seat for a fellow plane passenger on their first-ever flight, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of an act of kindness.
At Chesapeake Hearing Centers, we wouldn’t be here without the support of our community. It’s one of the many reasons we love paying it forward by giving back. Recently, we did just that — by donating a portion of our proceeds to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
If you follow us on Facebook, you might recall we announced our Hospice of the Chesapeake donation plans back in December. With Omicron numbers finally coming down some, we recently were able to visit with staff member Meredith Pscherer to give our gift. What an exciting moment!
This hospice organization — powered not only by medical staff but also social workers, chaplains, counselors, and volunteers — has brought comfort to many families and is also near and dear to our own hearts. We couldn’t have been more proud to thank them with our donation!
