Chesapeake Hearing Centers is the oldest private practice audiology group in the state of Maryland. Originally, services were confined to diagnostic site of lesion studies for physicians with auditory test batteries, including the first ABR testing for acoustic tumors outside a major hospital in Maryland. Chesapeake Hearing Centers offered Industrial hearing conservation programs beginning in 1981, and about that time initiated a hearing aid dispensary program. We were one of the first centers in this state to offer computer-programmable hearing aids in 1991 and remain a leader, dispensing a variety of programmable and totally digital instruments.
We are located at the corner of Elliot Road and Dover. Call us at (410) 690-4064 to set up your hearing care appointment!
Our practice specializes in:
Hearing Aids
Hearing aids come in a variety of designs and with a wide range of functions and features to address an individual’s specific needs. We’ll help match you to the hearing aid which meets your specific lifestyle.
Assistive Listening Devices
These devices are meant to be used either with or without hearing aids depending on your hearing needs and can include phones, alarm clocks and wireless TV systems.
Hearing Screening & Testing
If a hearing loss is suspected, an appointment with one of our certified Audiologists should be made for the purposes of testing and evaluation. Testing is painless, comfortable and safe.
Hearing Loss
Hearing is typically thought of as occurring in our ears, but hearing—and our understanding of sounds—really takes place in our brains. The right combination of provider, testing, and technology can help you back to the lifestyle you desire.
