About Chesapeake Hearing Centers

We are the oldest private practice audiology group in the state of Maryland, and you can be assured that we treat each patient just as we would want to be treated. With professional competence, respect, and caring service, we strive to always give advice which is in your best interests.

We believe this philosophy of simply “doing what is best for the patient” has served us well for 35 years and is likely the single most important reason for the success and growth of our practice.

We will continue doing things the same way for the next 35 years and we are thankful for the trust that thousands of hearing impaired patients have placed in us over the years.

When patients walk into an audiologist’s office for the first time, their thoughts often center on whether or not they actually need a hearing aid, if it will work for them, how small it can be, and how they can stay within their personal budget.

These are important concerns, but the process of getting a hearing aid is more involved. In most circumstances hearing loss involves the loss of sensory nerve cells that cannot be replaced. Fitting hearing aids never “cures” the disorder but compensates for the loss to the maximum extent possible. Obtaining the maximum benefit requires a combination of accurately fitting the newest technologies as well as providing education and counseling to enable the patient to achieve the most satisfactory experience are tasks we excel in at Chesapeake Hearing Centers. The considered professional application of these two aspects of care provides the very best chance for patients to achieve their maximum communicative potential.

The hearing instruments that are perfect for Mrs. Jones might be the worst possible solution for Mr. Smith. Our professional staff has the educational background and clinical experience to guide you through these important choices. This is why we tell our new patients that they get more than hearing aids here…”THEY GET US!”

Be sure to read the professional background of each of our providers and note the history of our clinic. We have helped thousands of people with hearing loss improve their communication and we can help you as well. We thank you for considering Chesapeake Hearing Centers for your care. Feel free to call us with any questions.

Office: 800-917-3001.

P.S. If you still have questions unaddressed, you can call me personally.
